KWIM’s monthly (July) training on QGIS software and awareness on open-source geospatial software to new members. The training was funded by OSGeo Oceania and facilitated by Mr. Tion Uriam, the National Coordinator for Hydrography and Charting.

The training covered the basics of QGIS, including how to create maps, add layers, and perform spatial analysis. Learning a new skill can be challenging but these women did an amazing job. We believe that nothing is impossible for women!

Ko raba OSGeo Oceania for funding the venue, transport and refreshments. Ao ko raba naba Tion for facilitating the training! Not forgetting the executive team for organising this, job well done KWIM!
