Funding

We have community funds you can apply for. Yes, you.

Grants

This program is aimed at providing small grants to support local initiatives. For example, paying for pizza at a meetup could qualify for a microgrant, or supporting a longer-term community activity might qualify for a grant, or maybe a custom sponsorship would help provide certainty.

The maximum amount and requirements vary for different grant types

  • a microgrant is AUD$250 per activity.
  • a grant is AUD$1,000 per grant
  • a sponsorship is user-defined

The grant process is designed to be relatively quick and easy.

See the OSGeo Oceania Sponsorship Policy for more information.
