OSGeo Oceania works with the open geospatial community in Oceania to run events: an annual conference, local user group meetings, and mapathons.
The biggest event is the annual conference, FOSS4G SotM Oceania. The 2024 conference will be held in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G) is openly available software and libraries we can all use to do analysis and make maps with our data.
State of the Map (SotM) focuses on OpenStreetMap and how we’re using and contributing to it.
