GeoGeeks meetup

Source: John Bryant, Geogeeks – LinkedIn

Epic GeoGeeks meetup last night at Spacecubed in Perth!

We had 4 fantastic talks: Nick Courts, Diego Hernández, yukio chaplin, River Bali, and David Galloway shared their stories about the GIS journey, reproducible workflows, drone data processing in the cloud, and fighting bushfires with open source software. Lots of laughs, heartfelt moments, and a great community feeling.

With a full house, we needed a lot of pizzas to keep everyone sticking around for a social hour at the end – thanks OSGeo Oceania for keeping us fed!

In Perth and want to join us next time? Head to https://geogeeks.org/ and join the mailing list, we’ll keep you in the loop.
